Sandown is a seaside resort on the south east coast of the Isle Of Wight, England. It is located on Sandown Bay not far from Lake, Shanklin, Brading, Bonchurch, and Ryde and is one of about fifty towns and villages in Isle Of Wight in which Go2 has cottages or holidays lets available. The closest cities are Portsmouth (population 187,056), Southampton (population 234,224), and Chichester (which has a population of 27,477 according to the 2001 Census).
This is a very popular area of the island to visit, with a great beach and must of interest in the town and surrounding area.
